Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Long Covid

Watch a recording of Dominique Joire and Kath Berry in a webinar discussing how acupuncture can help support patients preparing for the covid vaccine, vaccination aftercare and to rapidly speed up the recovery rate from post-viral exposure or "long covid". Long Covid is a term to describe the effects of Covid-19 that continue for weeks or months beyond the initial illness. In TCM terms: Lingering Pathogenic Factors (LPF).

Based on the clinical experience of the Gateway clinic (a TCM program in a NHS hospital) and the work of the Jade Screen Project* the UKs largest free charity of Chinese herbal Medicine for front line workers with Covid, this webinar will provide you with a clinical framework for understanding Long Covid as well as other major LPFs: Post-viral syndrome/ myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) / chronic fatigue syndrome / fibromyalgia etc. This in depth understanding of LPFs is critical for your future acupuncture practice as our western medicine colleagues have little to offer - paving the way for TCM to secure its role in primary healthcare and disease prevention.

* 10% of donations raised will go to fund the Jade Screen Project. You will also get free access to Will Mcleans webinar about Lingering Pathogenic Factors, recorded in 2012 pre-covid.
